Okay, I’d like to write a small intro to myself… I guess… Well, like might not be the right word, but you can’t just jump into this, right? Well, my name is Sarah, obviously. I love animals, music, normal teenager stuff, and I also work with a dog rescue organization. It's based in Covington, Tennessee, and we pull dogs from a pound that
does not adopt dogs out to the public. If their original owners don't come to get them, they areeuthanized. Most people don't even know
about our pound, so we're just trying to spread
the word and save dogs. :) So I hope you learn something, or just enjoy reading about someone’s boring life, haha. ^_^
Today was a pretty… full day, to say the least. It went completely to the dogs. We picked up five dogs from the vet, and dropped off a Rhodesian Ridge-back at a foster’s house. Her name apparently used to be Zuma. I thought it was cute with Juno and Luna. Juno, Luna, and Zuma! I think her soon-to-be-owners want to name her Miss Bradshaw, after some sports player or something. Some owners think of the strangest names, but what can I say? I think of some pretty weird names myself. I once wanted to name one Spock. I liked it, but I don't think it floated anyone else's boat. We also picked up our three dogs, today

Juno's tail looks twisted, as if it was broken and didn't heal quite right.

Juno; Luna; and Merlin, and Whisper, Ellen’s (a foster‘s) dog. She rode with us to get them. The car was quite full! Three large crates in the back of our truck,
and one in the back seat housing two rather large puppies. Well, Juno is rather large! 21 pounds large, to be exact! We left Juno at Ellen’s house for someone to pick up. He’s been adopted, which I just learned today! Luna has also been adopted, but is still with us. Merlin has an application pending. I guess a dog having heart worms really turns some people off. Now
that he's had heart worm treatment, he got an application. He's always had a lot of views, though. He’s very pretty and sweet! He's a big ball of energy, too!
I also heard more about Rosalee, the puppy we currently have. (You can view better pictures of her on the website. I need to get some close-ups!)

She was left on some railroad tracks in a box with her three siblings. When
I heard this the first time, I thought they meant beside the railroad tracks, but these puppies were literally on the tracks. I'm so glad a train didn't come before one of our members did! That would have been horrible. I don't understand how people can just leave innocent animals out to die, and of all the ways to kill them you pick a train?
Why would it have been so much harder to sit them outside a shelter, or even near someone's house? I guess I just have to be glad we found them! I don't have any good pictures of Rosalee yet, but you can see better ones on the website! She has the cutest, little body. She's very long and short. Looks a little like our Dachshund, even in her face.
I don't have much other news... The maple trees outside
are beautiful. They look like they're on fire!

Lady bugs always infest our house about this time of year. I think I may be the only person who doesn't like ladybugs. Sorry.

Oh, and I really liked Darren Criss' version of Teenage Dream on Glee! (I just got to watch it today on DVR.) I actually prefer it over the original. I usually like guy singers, anyway.
